I feel better too!!! Nice post.

For a commentary where nearly every sentence begins with "We are tired" this certainly is invigorating! The leftists may well have a revolution to deal with if they keep up their daily barrage of video and verbal torture of fellow Americans.

We are tired of the more than five million Muslim/Americans who seem to have lost their ability to denounce terrorism. I call these Muslim mutes ''enablers,'' and quite frankly, so should anyone who has come out against terrorism.
Actually I wouldn't mind if even one mullla declared a fatwah against OBL. That would help a lot.

I am tired of hearing that "Iraq was not a threat to us", as there is no one in the world more than Saddam who had more motive to want to do us harm after his humiliation by us in '91 (motive), when he had already attempted to kill a former President (precedent), contributed to terror (evidence of willingness to conspire), and, if there was any lesson to be learned from 9-11, it was that anyone who had all of the above in their history, WITH OR WITHOUT WMD, could and would do us great harm.

Excellent. The author, however, left off the last part: AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE.

We are tired of politicians, pundits, and panels... In a nutshell.

Superb post!
Could we also add: "We're tired of factual news presented as opinion and opinionated news reported as fact - be it print, video, or audio format."??
Thanks again.

Just thought of another one we should add. How about:
"We're tired of "un-named, high level, government sources report that. . . ". From this point forward, either this "source" must be named, or the entire article must be placed on the editorial page."

If your choice is to put politics ahead of country, and behave as if what has happened at Abu Ghraib prison is the defining moment of what the U.S. stands for, then I have no use for you, and Im willing to say most of the country does not either. We are, I fear, at a junction in history that is as serious as it can get. BUMP!

As far as offending anyone with the content of my tidy little philippic, that's tough.
But the truth often is. I promise not to do it again
for a while, anyway.
Well, I feel better. How about you?
I don't know about y'all, but reading this made me feel great!
I hope ole Vince writes another...very soon.
Thanks for the pings!
