Kerry Heckled at Memorial Day Event

Sen. John Kerry's record as an anti-war protester came back to haunt him on Memorial Day when he was confronted by a heckler as he tried to pay his respects to a soldier killed in the Vietnam War.

"How much money are you getting to betray our POWs?" an unidentified middle-aged woman shouted as Kerry visited the Vietnam Veterans memorial on the Washington Mall.

"Are you paying tribute to all the people you spat on, Senator Kerry?" she added.

The incident came as Kerry attempted to honor William Bronson, a Massachusetts native who was killed in Vietnam.

Kerry led the fight to have Bronson's name added to those already inscribed on the black granite wall, according to Reuters. "I'm glad we could finally get the appropriate thing done," the top Democrat told his mother, Barbara, who was there for the ceremony.

The heckling episode served to underscore the resentment many veterans still feel towards Kerry from his days as a leader with the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, when he teamed up with anti-American actress Jane Fonda.

Ironically, though Kerry has made his service in Vietnam a centerpiece of his campaign and has continued to attack President Bush's service in the Texas Air National Guard, veterans are shunning him, according to a poll released last week.

Though the CBS survey showed Kerry opening up an eight point lead over Bush overall, the poll's internal numbers show Kerry trailing badly among veterans, with only 41 percent supporting him while 54 percent back Bush.

Here is Portsmouth VA we attended the Memorial Day parade today. As always it was really good. Nice small town parade. As an added bonus Flippere' D'Lurch attended and the Kerry crowd provided some fine entertainment.

Here is a typical Kerry supporter dazzling us with his brilliance

He really care's about the enviroment. Here is JFK's enviromentally friendly SUV

There's one in every crowd! Actually there were quite a few of us even on short notice!

Add some SPATS to F'n Kerry's FLIP-FLOPS and you have a whole new line of shoes in Kerry World's Two-Timin' Five & Dime store.

Hurray for the lady who had the guts to speak up!

Whether a person stands in front of a column of tanks or shouts the right
rhetorical question from a crowd...
...it's sometimes amazing what the "power of one" can be.

Democratic handymen will work for food. Of course on the first day they will file a law suit for hostile work environment, form a union, and go on strike.

"The heckling episode served to underscore the resentment many veterans still feel towards Kerry from his days as a leader with the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, when he teamed up with anti-American actress Jane Fonda."

Only idiots would vote for a traitor.

My favorite post for DUmmies and trolls.

"I’m an internationalist. I’d like to see our troops dispersed through [sic] the world
only at the directive of the United Nations."
Hanoi John Kerry, The Harvard Crimson, 1970

HANOI KERRY
has a Campaign Platform
Just like the old days!

"It is a fact that in the entire Vietnam War we did not lose one major battle.
We lost the war at home and at home John Kerry was the field general"

- Bob Elder, Swift Boat Veteran For Truth

"I do not believe John Kerry is fit to be commander in chief of the U.S. armed forces,"
said retired Rear Adm. Roy Hoffmann, chairman of the organization.
"This is not a political issue. It is a matter of honesty."

I was there the same time Hanoi Kerry was.
I served on the destroyer USS Corry DD-817 which supplied PCF's and PBR's
and gave gunfire support in North AND South Viet Nam.
My ship may have even supplied Hanoi Kerry's boat.
I VOW I will do everything I LEGALLY can
to keep this traitor from being elected.
