I'm still reading that article and trying to tie things out. Being able to prove that Sam is Ahmed would be a good start... or at least to find the relationship. I had read the postings of soj before. She has things on that site that I have not seen printed elsewhere... I wonder where she gets her info. I also read the Yahoo message boards with Handi stuff. Amazing... and very complicated, I agree.
With the businesses I found for Aziz in Philadelphia, it would not suprise me that this is where much of the mid-east electronics came from (Radio equipment?, OBL Battery?)... and we already know his other business were tied to the Russian Mafia.
I think Aziz infiltrated the right wing by saying all the things the right wing media wanted to hear (oust Saddam). He hit the talk radio and talk show circuit, and spoke at Freeper events as well as the Council on Foreign Relations.
Once I can define the relationships in my mind, the weapons is an easy jump. Weapons, money laundering, etc.... all to help the relative causes. I wish I understood the different political leanings of all the various Iraqi groups... Sunni, Shi'ite, Baathists, Kurds (am I missing some?). Chalabi is a Shi'ite and is blaming the Baathists for his troubles. A Russian Mafia influence on one of these groups is not beyond the realm of possibility.
The way I see this is that probably the bad guys (Russian organized crime and Bin Laden) are trying to infiltrate their operatives into the new structures we are trying to create.
This is not without precident. After Communism, a lot of Russian money left Russia and then went back as "western investment." Same guys, new hats.
I actually support the war in Iraq. But it is not beyond the pale that Russian criminal structures might be pro-war too, so they can make money off the war by selling weapons to the terrorists. I think that happened in Chechnya--Al Qaeda and the Russian mafia one big happy family. Communists/KGB operatives were big joiners, and I think the Russian criminals also join things to take them over, too.
Even scarier is the alleged Aziz-Tarik Handi connection.
And if Chalabi is complicit in this, that would be terrible. Especially if he is building his own army to guard/snatch the oil fields. Well, my brain is tired!

You've made more progress than I have. I'm checking out the business registrations (VA)... and sons in California that were mentioned on the congressional site (in case one of them was Ahmed). No Ahmed Kubba attorney or licensed real estate professionals in California. Kubba Enterprises lists as agent and sole officer 'Sam Kubba'. So far, I've found nothing, lol.
That's my favored hypothesis, too, at least at this point, though that may intersect with espionage-related factors. Still puzzling over this one. . .
I think they look the same ... the eyes and eyebrows clinch it for me.

This doesn't make sense to me. The connection with Islamists going way back to his college days and the political activity of the father preclude him from being CIA.
This is one strange story, and getting more bizarre daily.
He might have been a soldier of fortune type, a free lancer trying to discredit America, a double agent or someone with a definite plan and support system within Iraq.
One thing I am sure of...he was up to no good.

Fort Belvoir is pretty far from Annandale where this building that houses/housed the American Iraqi Council is.
Backlick comes and goes as a road and you can't drive from Annandale to the Fort on Backlick. New roads that are bigger have taken Backlick's place. Still, Backlick pops up from time to time and is a side road at points.
Backlick runs into 244/Columbia Pike right in Annandale. If you cross Columbia Pike the name of Backlick changes to Maple Place. I looked at the sign on the outside of 7264 Maple Place and in the front hall (from the locked door) and didn't see the American Iraqi Council Listed.
My sense is that the American Iraqi Chamber of Commerce is the successor organization, but I don't know this for sure.
The building also houses Annandale's Chamber of Commerce and some other organizations. So if it is a successor organization, maybe they got the idea from Annandale's Chamber of Commerce.
I can't tell if Sam and Ahmed are the same person. However, they could be. Sam, who is running for Congress, has a beard, but the picture on the site looks sort of like a touched up photo.
Well, got to go to work. The holiday is over.
Holy Moly! You're right! It's all there! Moore sought Berg out (or was it the other way around?) to go to Iraq for him (or was Berg already going?) so Berg could hook up with Moore's al-queda connection (or was Berg working the CIA/Mossad circuit already?) (or did Berg already havea connection to his killers via OKC?) so Moore's al-queda partners could hack at his neck...all to embarass Bush...and the smartest thing Moore did? For maximum impact he left it out of the film he showed to packed audiences at Cannes.
How did I miss it?
My only questions now...was Moore old enough to be the shooter on the grassy knoll and what did he do with that Lindbergh baby??
