You're very knowledgable. Would you please go check out this site and tell us if that info is accurate?

The New York Scenario

I sent it to my father-in-law who holds a Ph.d in nuclear physics and actually knew both Oppenheimer and Teller. He also ran a nuke power plant until about twenty years ago when he retired. Now he's 80 and doesn't check his e-mail too often. So I haven't heard from him on the info posted in the article at that site.

Its pretty accurate for a 150KT bomb scenario. The big problem with the whole scenario is the fact a 150KT bomb isnt going to be accessible to terrorists for a number of reasons. Paramount reason being a 150KT bomb is a third to fourth generation bomb, and it has a lot of advanced technology in it.

You've got freepmail.

Ick.

I just went to that nuke scenario link, and as soon as I saw the words "shock wave" on the page, I thought of the usama collage pic that StillProud posted today.

The pic has lightening bolts over wave-filled seas. Here is what I thought:

lightening bolts and water = shock
wavy seas = wave

Shock wave.

Ick.
