There is a post saying the Wash. meter was a hoax, if so I'd like to know what so many saw
What people saw wasn't a hoax, the known location of impact was.
There was something (proabbly a meteor) and it's strange that the only headline you see for days is the hoax part of a true story.
A coverup that isn't really a coverup. The true story is there but the media concentrates on the hoax. Why?
My neighbor has a family of pet pigeons roosting on her roof. I bet they saw it. I didn't, but I watched the real-time reactions on Northwest Cable News Network. Many callers were quite shook up.
I think it turned out that the original "reporter" of the WA meteorite story, that AP quoted, claimed to be a meteorologist with a WA university. His credentials turned out to be the hoax. He was not a meteorologist nor was he employed by a university. The meteorite over WA was not a hoax, it was real.
