Labor Day is Sept. 6th this year.

I don't recall the meanings for 6 and 9. I'll look around though.

The G-8 has me more than concerned.

Yes, G-8 is a total worry, after this fool trip over seas that the President is on.

But the terrorists will give each other more 'brownie' points if they can make the hit on America's soil.

It is like them, to give a date in the future and hit before or after, while we worry about the dummy date.

Greenpeace wants access to press during G-8

The group has been told that all non-governmental organizations, or NGOs, will be prohibited from distributing news releases at the media center.

....

"It's for working media and government personnel only," he said. "These are tax dollars we're using to pay for this center, and taxpayer money cannot be used to endorse a cause."

A lack of credentials to the media center does not preclude groups like Greenpeace from getting access to reporters, Bennett said.

"They can hold a press conference anywhere they want in town, and invite all the media they want," he said.

Greenpeace International has planned two events in Savannah about nuclear weapons proliferation and plutonium disposition issues. Both are on the summit agenda.
