Hmmm- continuing this cheerful thought:

"Remember they keep repeating that they like to use our own things against us."

1. Our refineries - could become WMD

because the chemicals used in the refining process will become an extremely toxic "chemical weapon" if the refinery is attacked in a certain manner.

This is something AQ wrote about planning to do to the Saudi's. In detail.

2. Plum Island, Fort Detrick, and the like.- could become WMD

3. Nuke power plants- obvious

4. industrial plants of numerous varieties- (remember the Bhopal, India disaster?)

5. I hate to say this- but almost any section of NJ around Secaucus could probably become a WMD.

6. Our dams and the like.

IMHO, your thinking is right on. Since they successfully used our own resources against us in the first strike I see no reason why they wouldn't continue on this line of thinking.

Gasoline/Oil refineries - WMD and a MAJOR hit to the economy (think $5+/gal for gas)

Crippling our rail transportation system would also be a major economic hit. If coal couldn't get to the power generating plants and the country suffered shortages, communications, electronic commerce, and possibly weapons systems could go offline.

Shutdown the highway system and food wouldn't make it to the stores. Think mass chaos here. Riots, looting, etc.

Okay, now I'm scaring myself....But you're right jersygirl, they will use what we least expect them to.

SciFi is suppose to have a movie on Sunday called "Meltdown" and it is exactly like this!

We don't have to worry about terrorists hitting us with nukes, when we can supply them, then the commercial goes to pics of our nuke plants
