Buck I thank you for your insightfulness and made your first suggestion to those upset, as other's here have. Some are too hurt or obstinate to take a break, breathe, recollect with R & R and then not give up. It is beyond sad. Hopefully, you will post more?

Hey there JJ. Jill could certainly answer your question better than I can, but, I think chatter can be from a combination of sources. Intercepted phone conversations as well as web forum messages. I believe it has been mentioned way back on this thread how web discussion forums would be set up, frequently on yahoo, mainly of muslim type discussions. Sometimes they would be up for months, or just hours, then closed down only to open up again elsewhere.
As far as tracing down the phone calls, I don't know. I believe way back at the beginning of the war some terrorists were busted that way. I don't know enough about telephone technology, land line or cell phone, to answer that one. Sorry.

Yes you'd think that. I may be wrong though.
Can someone else weigh in on this?

Anything is possible, sure food for thought, but if we refuse to give up and stay on track, we can survive this!

Just remembered that chatter also includes what they learn from informants and detained prisoners. I read that somewhere. Probably here.

I just re-read my last post and realized that I may have come off sarcastically when I didn't mean to. I sincerely thank Jill for her hard work and I'm not blaming her for any troubles here. Sorry about that.

Gotcha. Interesting and plausible theory. Someone out there in internet land could see what we have accomplished in the last 7 months (amazing this thread has been going since November). That someone, being on the "other side", knows things are heating up (upcoming terrorist plans) and wants to disrupt anti-terrorism brain-stormers. (Speculation here on my part). Wonder if this is happening on other forums (other than FR) that discuss this sort of thing. I check in at other forums but don't follow them nearly as closely as I do this one, so, I couldn't judge that.
Thanks for the explanation.

I wish I could catch one of these guys "chattering" so I could terrorize them upside the head.
To: buckalfa
Forget #1, but #2 is interesting in light of the verbal monkey wrenches being tossed about and in light of Jill St.Claire having just recently expressed her experiences.
I think there is something to be said for panic quelling if the globe possibly is about to be celestially "snowballed".
Still, individuals probably are just taking breaks with family stuff and the weather surely has been a factor. Important not to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Maybe SP2 is just taking a well deserved holiday.

To those of you who won't let this thing go away ---Please refer to post #372 From Jill St. Claire. It was posted last night.

June will not be a good month.Agreed. Even having a date doesn't help if you don't know what is planned and where it is targeted.

No, actually I hadn't seen that...but now that I have I almost want my last post retracted!
That even pisses me off...and she was dead-on wrong for ever posting something like that ANYWHERE! Especially given the fact that she is deemed credible. No doubt she does great work....but that one post IMHO has me questioning alot!
Sorry folks, I am not gonna lie...that post really, really bothers me....stay tuned for the REAL date being in the paid section!

It is very sad to me also. We can hope they are looking downwards at the memorial though. :)
To: Oorang
If something touched on was too *hot* and the word went out to squelch such dialogue perhaps there would be an attempt to distract from the hot topic.

Good posts, both of you. I've been here since the beginning. There may be times when I don't post for a few days (nothing to say) or there may be times when I'm busy or just need a break. But, I have read every single cotton-pickin post. I may have angered some folks, I don't know. If I have, I apologize. I'm a big one for apologizing. Life is too short to lose something because you can't step back and say "hmmm, maybe I should give an inch". I feel that human beings are not perfect. We come in all different shapes, colors, sizes, etc. But, we don't come in perfect. Everyone needs some slack sometimes. Everyone. I also don't walk away, or give up easily, at all. It takes alot for me to walk away from something that I see has a lot of value. I feel this thread and EVERYONE that has been contributing to it for all these seven months has value.
And that's all I have to say about that.

You know what. I decide things for myself not by what another poster tells me to think. Suppose you were SP2 and you posted "Hey, I know the date", then someone tells you maybe you shouldn't do that. For who knows what reason. Do you want to be called a liar and admonished form your group of friends. Geesh, what if the target is election poll booths or something. Don't you think that would affect people?
