I think he will be on here before too long. His politics are already in the right place, and he is very keen to stay apprised of the "goings on" in the WOT.

I had off-handedly told him back in late winter to look for a joint offensive with Pakistan in the spring, and then kinda forgot it when I got occupied with Mom.

About 3 weeks later he came to me all wide-eyed - he had heard that morning about the combined offensive with Pakistan along the Afghanistan border.

No problem! If any of that info is useful to even one person, I'll consider my purpose served.

I should have added: SHOVEL AND TROWEL! Absolutely necessary for trench latrines. Or "personal" one-man latrines. They compost even faster. Better with a larger peice of land to work with, and you kind of need to keep track where you've been digging.

Actually I forgot to add it for burns. I knew I'd forget stuff! But the only aloe I've ever used for burns is fresh aloe directly from the plant. I used to grow them but since I've moved up north (relatively speaking) I haven't grown them successfully. I'll try again, now that you've reminded me!

There is another use for aloe vera that I have used the bottled kind for - and that is ULCERS!!! Anyone who has ulcers (I had the kind at the top of the stomach) should take aloe GEL - three times a day, about 1/3 of a cup, with a small pinch of powdered ginger. I used to mix with with apple juice since I didn't like the texture. It really works. I had to take it for a couple of months, but felt relief from pain in a couple of days.

I take issue with this statement from the article above:

No, this was probably not out of character for Ahmed, this horse racing was perfect cover for Ahmed.

I did find this tidbit interesting. In reference to the horses starting position @ the Kentucky derby.

War Emblem was after 9/11 (2002) and had the same owner but neither horse was from Saudi.

Thanks for clearing that up about the horses, I don't follow horse racing but had all these names of horses racing around my head. I guess I meant Saudi owner, the horses were bred in the USA? The 17 vs. 19 argument is interesting, did not really know that, and obviously 19 was the number of hijackers.

Meteor Storm won in something that was "handicapped" at Belmont Park? Not the same as Belmont? Anyway.

I have the opinion that many of the prophecy sites will trace back to the communists and are at the base anti-U.S. releases. Some that I have checked and also heard on the radio, are definitely of that class.

Our Government does not gain anything by scaring us.

The commie and terrorist crowd does have a platform to serve. It is important to them that we not be concentrated on the things that matter to the country or to the Church.

There are terrorists and terrorist supporters who work for the government, I think all the way to the White House. Anything to defeat President Bush.

The fact that many of the reports on the meteors are in the very newspapers who are against all the country stands for, may be a tip off that, they need something new to print, rather than to print the news that is important.

I have had the radio on talk shows and the democrat callers are already coming out of the woodwork, about how awful President Reagan was. One complained that he had started his first campaign in the south and that was the wrong place.

I laughed at that one, how sad that a man cannot die in peace.

I also have the thought stuck in my head that President Reagan has today performed his final act for this country.

I have heard of several democrats who have had to admit that a Republican President had done a good job as a man and as a President.

Calif near Los Padres National Park, thought it said 5,000 acres, there had been evacuations and at one point 2 oil refineries were in danger.

PS - Two feral cats moved on the property here a while ago and one is pregnant. Any ideas of how to get her to at least have them in a box outside?
