Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said yesterday he will oppose the Central American Free Trade Agreement, marking the first time he will have voted against a free-trade agreement after 20 years of supporting them in Congress.
The Massachusetts senator said the new agreement, which the United States and five Central American nations signed yesterday, does not have enough rules to protect the environment or workers' rights in the other nations.

It really is sad the number of hoops a Dim must jump through to run for president. They must claim to be:
1. Pro-abortion
2. Anti-free trade
3. Anti-2nd ammendment
4. Anti-US forces, really anti US
5. Pro-Afrimative Action
6. Pro-radical environmentalism
7. Anti any possible change in Social Security any proposed changes can not be evaluated only used for political purposes.
etc. And this is not a matter of winning the election, this is a matter of even getting the nomination. There are no exception made. Look at Kerry this time on trade and Lieberman the last time afirmative action.
