This Sunday, Steven Hayes will appear on NBC's "Meet the Press." He will be interviewed by one of the best political talk show hosts in the nation, Tim Russert.

There are people in the United States government who do not want you to see this interview. Why?

Because his book, "The Connection," outlines dozens of factual connections between the WTC attack on September 11, 2001 and the government of Iraq.

But I thought There Was No Connection Between 9/11 And Iraq...

This is a myth. All along, the CIA knew that al-Qaeda needed financial backing from a nation-state. Afghanistan provided safe haven, but Iraq provided the money.

What kind of Connection Is This?

Hayes has documented evidence discov ered by the U.S. military, supported by foreign intelligence agencies, that connect the Iraqi Intelligence Services with top lieutenants of al-Qaeda.

Why Does It Matter?

Because both presidential candidates are trying to hide these facts from you. John Kerry wants to be elected President so he is trying to discredit any justification for the Iraq war. George Bush didn't want to confirm it because it would require harsh measures in Iraq, undermining his re-election hopes. And Congressional Intelligence Committees don't want you to see it because they have known about this connection for years, and failed to protect America.

If you care about holding the government responsible for its intelligence reports and the protection of the United States, you need to watch "Meet the Press" this Sunday. You'll never see the Iraq War in the same way.

"George Bush didn't want to confirm it because it would require harsh measures in Iraq"

I haven't noticed Bush trying to confirm or publicize any weapons findings.

At some point the administration will publish a report setting out all of the WMDs and other evidence, including perhaps confessions by Saddam. This will be much more dramatic and persuasive than dribbling it out piece by piece.

"He will be interviewed by one of the best political talk show hosts in the nation, Tim Russert." If that's your personal sentiment, your name befits you. Russert is a DNC lapdog. Period.

Meanwhile, in a tiny arthouse theatre not-so-near to you, Lumpy Riefenstahl has a Distributor and "911 Lies" opens June 25.

So Hayes, with all his research and documentation, will be shunted aside, while Lumpy's lies will be lauded and lionized. It's frustrating.
