In my opinion, Provance is an ass. He is violating lawful orders when he talks to the press, and his actions are contrary to good military order and discipline, EVEN IF he's telling the truth. He should be working these issues through his chain of command, not running to ABC! Military personnel are not supposed to run to the press like this. For one thing, the mainstream press is no friend of the military and is only interested in digging up dirt in order to present the military in the worst possible light. For another, revealing information while an investigation is under way might very well compromise that investigation.
The female Brig Gen who was in charge of the prison also is running to the press. Someone needs to give her a gag order, too, because I'm sick of hearing her blame everyone but herself!
