Baltimore Mayor likens President Bush to Terrorists.

Did anyone else catch the POS O'Malley last night and this morning on the news runs? In a nutshell when asked what he thought about the Terrorists wanting to strike in the US this summer, he ended his little tirade by saying that al Qaeda is using the fact that President Bush is in office as a their recruiting tool. He also suggested that keeping President Bush in Office was the aim of Terrorists who are trying to attack inside the US.

Why this idiot is still in office is beyond me. This guy is as far left and anti-American as they come.

Hey, isn't that the reason the Democrats cleaned up the Inner Harbor ~ so AlQaeda could make a sea landing right in downtown Baltimore, and get a couple of crab sandwiches on their way!

I hate these moments when more AlQaeda ground support team guys are revealed.

If I could post something, for some reason I never can, I would post the editorial in the Baltimore Sun yesterday. I was frothing after reading it. It was about the sarin bomb and that maybe there might be WMD in Syria. Then the writer went on to say that if the weapons were in Syria and if they were dispersed and used, then GEORGE BUSH WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROLIFERATION OF WMD BY HAVING A BRUTISH WAR ON IRAQ,,I could not believe my eyes, the editor actually said Bush caused the proliferation and use of WMD. Suddenly I was enraged, then tired. You can't make stuff like this up. And they believe it. OMalley is loved as Mayor, I am shocked he said that. But the level of discourse is daily sinking.

It's pretty sad really, years ago Baltimore used to be a fairly decent place to live, not great, but decent. But over the years with Far Left liberals in office it has turned into a third world hell with people like Omalley at the helm. The same individual that is offering home loans to illegals only.

He's still there because a lot of voters put their party interests above the national security interests.

A good bumper sticker would be - "Bring the war on terror to your own back yard, vote for democrats."

The RATs are going to run as appeasers during the upcoming campaign.

As Baldwin and Chamberlin learned, a policy of appeasement does not work. Do the voters know this, or will they have to learn the hard way?

What was their recruiting tool during the 1990's, when they were constructed-20,000-30,000 strong?

That's the only way a white guy, or any guy could get elected in that socialist cesspool.

Baltimore is the heroin capital of the United States.

Maybe the Mayor should focus on his decrepit city first.

I'm from Baltimore... O'Malley can't even keep the crime on his own streets down. He keeps complaining about not receiving enough funding from the Federal govt to fight terrorism, but people are murdered on his watch every night.

If there is anything we can be absolutely sure of about Islamic terrorists, it is that they will do anything to get Bush OUT of office.

The only way he got elected was that two black guys managed to split the black vote in the Dem primary. Once nominated by the Dems, he won the general election because there are not enough Republicans in Baltimore City to overflow a phone booth. He is currently sparring with Maryland's Republican governor, Bob Ehrlich, who happens to support the President.

Maybe he ought to tend to his own city where three children were decapitated yesterday.

Well look at it this way. He just said al-Quaeda wants Kerry as President. Why? so they have unfettered access to Americans, especially Christians and Jews.

Sarin in Baghdad

May 27, 2004

THE PENTAGON has confirmed that traces of the nerve agent sarin were detected in an Iraqi artillery shell that was found and detonated in Baghdad on May 15. To suggest that this discovery proves the Bush administration was right to go to war against Saddam Hussein is close to ludicrous.

Yet it would be equally foolhardy simply to dismiss this find. Chemical weapons are serious business -- and where there was one shell, there may be more.

Some background: No one disputes that Iraq produced nerve agents, and used them, during the 1980s. In 1991, the United Nations ordered Iraq to dispose of them. Allegations that Iraq had failed to comply were cited by the Bush administration to justify last year's invasion. It was, in our view, a flimsy excuse for war. In any case, the deadly stockpiles never turned up.

The 155 mm shell that was found 12 days ago apparently dates from before 1991. Arms control experts suspect that the insurgents who had the shell were unaware of its contents. But are there others?

Conventional wisdom holds that the Hussein regime actually did destroy its prohibited weapons but chose not to admit it. A few diehards in Washington still hope that American troops may yet stumble upon a large hidden store of such munitions. A third possibility is that chemical and perhaps biological arms were smuggled out of Iraq just as the war got under way last year.

That is a frightening prospect. It could mean that even now, Iraqi nerve agents are ready for use in Islamabad or Istanbul, in Nairobi or Moscow, in Tokyo or New York. It would also mean that the U.S. effort to contain Iraqi weapons was worse than a failure -- that in fact the invasion of Iraq was the direct cause of their proliferation.

Here's hoping that the conventional wisdom is right -- that virtually all the Iraqi weapons have long since been destroyed. Terrorists, of course, can be perfectly effective using conventional explosives, but chemical weapons, banned by international convention, hold a particular horror. That said, it is worth noting that Iraq was hardly the only country with a chemical weapons program; U.S. intelligence, for what it's worth, lists 15 other likely candidates. Nerve agents are not that difficult to produce, and their effect can be devastating.

The point, then, is this: Sarin and its counterparts do pose an urgent threat, worldwide, and no one should be made complacent by their relative absence in Iraq. At the same time, a blunt and ill-advised frontal assault, such as America launched against Baghdad, may be about the worst way to go after them.
