I don't agree with your assumption that the speech fell flat. I believed the President was speaking as much, if not more, to the Iraqi people and those Americans who are concerned we "don't have a plan" and "we don't know what we're doing".

I'd never answer the democrats. They would find fault no matter what the President said. Why bother with them. And .. who gives a rip what the world thinks. They aren't spending the money and giving their precious children.

They were listening to their Leader tell them serious stuff, not at a pep rally where you scream and yell....Come on CBB....you're so much better than this.....this is the first time I've ever seen you miss your mark, and the response here alone should get you to at least alter the title and the direction of your piece...
