Imagine if you dropped your diary on the sidewalk somewhere and the next thing you know it's national news. (ed. note-all her life tales were available publicly on a weblog, put there by her!)
The National Enquirer offered me $20,000.00 for an interview today. But I said no. I have nothing to say that has not already been said, so they started low balling me down to $5,000.00!
Took a long lunch at The Palm Steakhouse with a lovely woman from the Washington Post Magazine. Not talking to the 'Reliable Source' column anymore.
Leiby implied I had the AIDS bug in his column. He obviously hates me for some reason.
Taking calls all day long, setting up meetings for my trip tomorrow. You know, it's Fleet Week in New York City: A photo op if there ever was one! Hello Page Six!
But seriously, this stuff is crazy. I still don't get it.
Not doing interviews anymore. I need to start working on my new line of handbags anyway.

I see you cleaned up wonkette's language a bit. The handbag comment is funny. (I assume it's a joke.) Monica must be on her mind.

It shows how clueless she really is, she really doesn't understand why people are upset?
Or it could all be media posturing.

If she was really smart she probably could have gotten the tabs up to $100,000.00-20k was probably just a starting point with the right names..

You forgot the helpful identifier in your headline...
Skank alert
Have you read the Michelle Malkin op-ed on this?
To: TigerTale
Maybe it included her colon rental fee.

Like an above poster said, she's going to New York to shop her book deal, Playoby/FHM/Maxim spread, and celebrity appearance fees.
Not a bad move, but she could have kept the story going a few more cycles (and raising her fees) by going to the tabs..

They probably go to the same plastic surgeon. You are right, same cheekbones, etc.
I thought the line about the diary on the sidewalk really funny. You mean when I upload stuff to the web, people don't read it?
