Something to Yak About Al Gore, Film Critic Al Gore, Policy Critic Memo to Al: Dont Quit Your Day Job Seriously, How Bad Is It? Kerry Taking Heat for Proposing to Shun Boston Nomination Goofy Non-Nomination Plan Could Risk Security Bostonians Ticked-Off at Kerry You Know the Drill Talkers Profile Ankarlo Mornings, KLIF/Dallas The Final Yak
Former Clinton veep Al Gore seems to have found a couple of new pastimes to while away his idle hours; reviewing wacky disaster flicks and pounding Republicans. After heaping praise on the movie The Day After Tomorrow, a cinematic tour de force on preposterous global warming nonsense, Gore said Tuesday that we humans are conducting an uncontrolled experiment on the planet and warned of possible catastrophe. Egad
dial it down a notch
When Al Gore isnt reviewing crazy disaster movies, hes reviewing government policy. Seems Gore has teamed up with the wild and crazy folks at Move On Dot Org and plans to demand the resignation of some Bush administration officials and a military leader. We all know how thoughtful the Move On crowd is, so The Yak supposes Mr. Gores remarks will be met with a commensurate degree of legitimacy. Said Republican National Committee Communications Director Jim Dyke, Al Gore's political hubris knows no bounds."
After sampling Al Gores film and political reviews, the RNCs Jim Dyke offered Gore his best regards noting, The last time I saw Al Gore he was sitting in a hot tub on Saturday Night Live. The last time Al Gore made a political decision he endorsed Howard Dean. The last time Al Gore talked about global warming it was one of the coldest days on record in New York City. I wish him well as a movie critic.
Regarding the disaster film, one might expect at least a modicum of science in a film whose plot is presumably based on science, but not so. Scientific reviews of the movies premise begin with physically impossible, and get only more dismissive after that.
While members of John Kerrys party are offending millions of Americans with terrorist comparisons, the Gentleman from Massachusetts is doing a pretty fair job of upsetting folks with his cynical idea of not accepting his partys nomination at the Democrat convention in Boston. (SUGGESTED KERRY QUOTE: I actually did seek the nomination, before refusing it.) The idea has already been denounced as questionable by one of his hometowns biggest newspapers. Even liberal icon George McGovern is telling Kerry its a dumb idea. But thats not the half of it.
Another of John Kerrys hometown papers is quoting Democrat sources as saying not accepting the nomination at the July convention could result in a security downgrade for the event. If there's no nomination at the convention, that could make it like any other political event and Secret Service could pull back,'' one Democratic official warned. That could be a problem.''
Seems John Kerrys notion of not accepting his partys nomination in July is getting under the skin of Bostonians already grumpy about street and rail closures during the Democrat convention. Said one disgruntled Boston commuter, It will inconvenience thousands of people for nothing." Thats John Kerry a real Man of the People
Regular Yaksters know this is the graph where we plug RNC Radio Services, so call 202-863-8614 now for guests and info. If you dont call now, I may be fired so please hurry to make sure I dont wind up like this guy.
Darrell Ankarlo of Ankarlo Mornings, has been described as a combination of People and Time magazines and is viewed as the one talk show in Dallas-Ft. Worth with real substance and variety. Whether its a family story or a live report from Afghanistan, Iraq or points unknown, avid fans tune in daily because they never know what they're going to get. But they do know it will be interesting, entertaining and uniquely Darrell. (SOURCE: KLIF/Dallas)
We can only assume that Tom Daschle and Stephanie Herseth's silence on this issue means they agree with Senator Johnson. If they do not they should repudiate these comments immediately. This kind of political hate speech has no place in our electoral process. (SOURCE: RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie, on Tim Johnsons Taliban comment)
Talk about a target-rich environment!
These days, Ted Kennedy actually looks sober (thinking, not drinking) and sane compared to Kerry & Gore.
Next week I expect Kerry will give a speech at Fenway Park blaming Dubya for the failure of the Red Sox to win the World Serious the past three seasons.
Gore is completely unhinged and just imagine if he had been elected instead of President Bush....that one gives me the shivers.
I heard she's dating again.
I've read and reviewed the book upon which it is based, The Coming Global Superstorm by Art Bell and Whitley Strieber.
President Gore closer to finding 911 terrorists BY MAUREEN DOWD NEW YORK - Although it`s only been three years since 911, President Al Gore today said that the US is getting closer and closer each day to finding those people responsible for the September 11th attacks. At a news conference today the President was asked about this tremendous progress and if it was possible that those responsible might have been in the planes when they crashed on Sept 11th 2001. President Gore said that it was possible but it`s not quite probable yet if they were they only ones responsible. When asked if it was possible that those responsible might possibly be in Afghanistan as part of the Taliban, the President responded that it was possible that those responsible might be in Afghanistan as part of the Taliban but the US needs to be more responsible before that can be solvable. When asked if it was possible that he meant he was being responsible to remain hospitable to our valuble French allies, the President replied that he was being responsible to remain hospitable to our valuble French allies. Coming back from a fund raiser the President spoke at a fundraiser at a Hasidic community meeting. "I`ve always loved the Coming back from a fundraiser, the President appeared on Oprah last Tuesday which was being taped in Florida, the state that helped him win the election, and talked more in depth about his work for the enviornment. We all know that Al Gore has a LONG career as a film critic.
