Ahmed Ammar, citizen of Yemen and resident of Poland for the past 14 years, a doctoral student at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznañ and unofficial Muslim cleric-imam of the Wielkopolska region-has to leave Poland. This order was issued by Andrzej Nowakowski, governor of Wielkopolska province, at a motion by the Internal Security Agency (ABW). The province governor justifies his decision by citing the Agency's opinion, according to which Ammar's further stay in Poland "constitutes a threat to state security and to the public order." The head of the ABW, Andrzej Barcikowski, refuses to disclose information concerning the actual reasons for Ammar's expulsion from Poland since it would be illegal. According to unofficial sources, the ABW accuses the Yemeni of contacts with organizations supporting terrorism.
Ammar claims the information about his contacts with pro-terrorist organizations is untrue. He claims to want to leave Poland, but only after his case is resolved. If the imam does not leave Poland, deportation procedure will be initiated.
Good idea for the USA too.
Tony Blair would do well to take notice of this. He's got a couple of Imams that need to leave.
Interesting.
The imam is a Yemeni national, resident in Poland, and has been so since the fall of The Empire.
But not WHILE The Empire was alive.
Yay! This Polish leader is my new hero!
Way to go Poland!
Good God, even the Poles understand what America refuses to look at...
NEVER FORGET!!
God bless Jan Sobieski!! His spirit still lives!!

The Poles get it.
Folks tend to make fun of Polish doings but seems Poland got this 100% right. U.S. could benifit by copying.
For where? America?
Yemen.
Ok, Yemen today but America tomorrow, next week, or November.
"Ok, Yemen today but America tomorrow, next week, or November."
Maybe. If you let him arrive to US.
I've read for example, that he said (that imam), that Al-Queda was right, because "the enemy was warned before being attacked". Saying "enemy" he meant probably almost 3.000 people in Twin Towers and Pentagon.
No, he'll be fingerprinted.
To paraphrase Bluto (John Belushi): "14 years of college down the drain!"
and Jan III Sobieski vodka ;) one of the best...
