Based on what I've seen and heard of Nick...I don't know what to conclude.

He was either cursed with the sorriest run of bad luck one could have, or he was living the plot of a Robert Ludlum novel.

No kidding. I'm just baffled by the various plot lines. The Moussaui connection is simply astounding; if he really was innocent, it's almost unbelievable.

I think it's interesting that the article points out Berg continued his "studies" at Cornell, Drexel, Penn, and Oklahoma. He was an undergraduate. Schools don't just invite undergrads in to start playing in the labs. How does one go from designing "paper bricks" for huts to communication towers?

I suppose the oddities of Mr. Berg's life are amplified by the manner of his death. But I just can't shake the idea that the story isn't complete on him.
