Huh? The petition itself stops the noise? With no further action or ratification needed? That would be cool if true.

This now stops the amplification of the muslim call to prayer and it must be voted on by the people.

They can continue to call it vocally of course.

There was a story I read the other day the Muslims don't care, they're going to make their calls to prayer anyway regardless of the petition.

We're losing the rule of law thanks to open borders and mass immigration, what a legacy to leave our kids.

I could be wrong, but it's my understanding that when a petition is presented to a city council, the council has the option of accepting or rejecting the petition. If the council accepted the petition, they would reverse their previous ruling and not allow the caterwauling. The only way it would become a ballot issue is if the city council declined to reverse their previous ruling?
