Why wouldn't Free Market concepts work with my suggestinon. I can think of about 15 channels I would keep and the rest of 100 could go down the toliet as far as I am concerened.

I'd keep
Fox News
CSPAN
ESPN
FOX SPORTS
Home & Garden
Food Network
Travel
Discovery
TLC
A&E
History Channel
Golf Channel
NFL Network (if I ever get it)
Weather Channel (for the weather gals)

Pretty good list there. I'd add ESPN 2 because they sometimes pick up some pretty good college football games. Other than that I can't think of anything else.

Your list here captures the ones I used to watch, save maybe the weather channel and sports, until we dropped cable. Oh, and the Biography channel was pretty interesting. Oh well, can't say I miss it terribly.

Given this "new" endeavor, I wouldn't subscribe again for fear my kids would catch the channel while surfing.
