Read "Rewriting History" by Dick Morris. He dispells several perceptions that Hillary has handed out; he gives a new insight into how she "works".

Thnks for your response, Maria. I haven't even read her "Lying History" yet. I bet his version is good to read, though.

(ps to you - don't get out to bookstores these days; just rely on media online mostly. And TV, of course - cable. Bummer to be unable physically to get out and about.)

Hillary Clinton Interview Part II

Washington, DC - Hillary Rodham Clinton is the only first lady ever-voted into elective office. She's also the first woman to become a senator for the state of New York.

In an exclusive sit down interview with Channel 7's Christina McLarty, Clinton talks about what she's working for in Washington as a senator and about the speculation that she plans to abandon her seat to run for president.

When Hillary Clinton ran for senator, she faced a lot of negativity from former mayor Giuliani and other Republican politicians. But New Yorkers voted her in and it's a job that the Senator says she plans to focus on for quite some time.

Bill and Hillary Clinton waved good bye to Arkansas in 1993 when the nation elected Bill president. "As we leave, we know the road ahead is difficult."

After two terms, the Clinton years at the White House were coming to an end in 2000. But for Hillary, a new chapter was about to begin.

During the Clinton’s final days inside the White House, Bill and Hillary discussed where and what they would do both as a couple and as politicians.

(Christina McLarty) "Looking at you as a senator, did you ever think of Arkansas or Illinois, what attracted you to New York?"

(Hillary Clinton) "Bill and I talked in the White House about where we'd go after and we knew we would divide our time between Arkansas and New York. Then when people started talking about me running for senate, well then I just left that up to the people of New York and thankfully they did."

(Christina McLarty) "Seeking re-election?"

(Hillary Clinton) "Yes. I hope my work in the senate and I hope New York will endorse the work that I have done."

(Christina McLarty) "Put down rumors running for president or running mate?"

(Hillary Clinton) "Yes. I think our country should have a woman president within a short period of time, I’ve been saying that for many years. I don't know if I’ll be around when it happens."

(Christina McLarty) "But how does it make you feel to hear yourself in those lights to hear people want to see you in that role, that must be amazing?"

(Hillary Clinton) "It’s gratifying that people think of me in those lights, but I will work hard for Kerry and whoever he selects as a running mate. Obviously I have strong feelings about this election and what it means from Arkansas to New York."

In her memoir "Living History" Hillary attacks the Bush Administration calling it "neither compassionate nor conservative." But Hillary also writes tenderly about another, very private subject, marriage. The scandal that took place when Bill Clinton announced his relationship with Monica Lewinsky, led to everything from criticism to talk of impeachment.

In the end, Hillary’s marriage prevailed and she smiles as she talks about the bond they've kept for more than 30 years.

(Christina McLarty) "Has he ever not supported you or said this is weird you're in the public eye, it's always been a supportive relationship?"

(Hillary Clinton) "He has been so supportive and encouraging of me in every way and still is today, we talk everyday and I am in New York half of the week. But he is also actively involved in the library and foundation and it takes a lot of his time, so does his book which is going to be a love poem to Arkansas."

Bill's book "My Life" is set to be released in late June with a first printing of 1.5 million copies. More than 2 million people have already bought Hillary’s book.

It's a story that she was paid 8 million dollars for. But amidst the glamour of best selling books and politics, Hillary says she hopes she's remembered for her determination to make a difference in others lives. "I just want people to know I love my country and I have tried all my adult life to help make it a better place. If I have in some small way or by trying to stand up for others in what is right and giving others a chance, then that would make me very happy."

The senator also said that her proudest moment is the day she became a mother.

SORRY - my original post was a bit skewie. I usually just respond and not post articles. I tried to backspace in the original post and edit w/the URL's - nope - that don't work. Excuse me in my learning curve in posting, and also in HTML. Man, what a dumb post I must seem to be. I'm neither new to FR nor to computers. Just new to HTML. And, in that respect....check out my home page and recall the Thanksgiving Day photo posted where the Airborne Ranger gave Hillary a little heart twitter. LOL

I couldn't find the answer on GOOGLE. So I emailed Christina to ask her and she emailed me back today. She is Mack McLarty's niece. She favors him in that picture on the "news" website. I should have known that she was related somehow. She would NEVER have gotten an interview with Hillary Clinton unless Hillary already knew that the interview was going to be favorable to Hillary.

Hillary Clinton has the one characteristic that all dictators seem to possess and that is paranoia.

God help this country if she ever gets near the White House again.
