The book looks pretty interesting. I have bamboo plants on this property that my parents were trying to eradicate when I was in kindergarten. They will not go away. We do need to take personal responsibility about the things we plant, and I understand that. However, I just don't see a huge crisis that warrants this legislation.

If this should pass, how far can they go?

My principal reasons for being against the legislation are that it won't work, the bureaucrats will make things worse to get bigger budgets, it will be hugely expensive and unjust. The problem is just too complex for bureaucratic systems to manage. It often requires speed and risk taking to which they are not suited. I can see nothing but evil coming from this.
