Was President Bush's speech last night televised?

Posted on 05/25/2004 4:59:06 AM PDT by newsgatherer

Did anyone see the Presidents speech to the US Army War College in Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania, on televison last night, and if so what station or network carried it?

Thanks for the help,

Fox News carried it live? Don't laugh, I don't have cable at home.

In Central Kentucky ABC, CBS, NBC, and local FOX decided not to cover the President's speech.

Yes the Broadcast Networks Censored the President. You could only see the president if you are a cable subscriber. All the rest of you can eat cake.

Yeah, they said they weren't "asked". Now, since WHEN does a news organization need to be asked or told WHERE news is?

Did Bill Klinton EVER have to ask?

They did the same thing when the President gave the most important speech of any recent President....that of going to war.

I guess once again most Americans can't live without Survivor, or Yes, Dear.

Fox news, then flicked around to see the commentary.

CNN had Joe Biden-in-the-box popping out to disseminate the DNC talking points immediately.

Joe Conasen, I think that's who it was, on PMSNBC giving his, ahem, erudite opinion.

So predictable, so obvious...

Actually, the local ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs did carry it live.

I checked them all to be sure. So I watched their coverage and sent them a note thanking them.

I sent the other local stations a note telling them what bums they are.

If you don't have Fox News, you are uninformed and a victim of liberal censorship. It doesn't cost that much for a basic cable subscription, and you could drop the fish wrapper newspaper to pay for it. That's what we did.

Here in Louisville, KY, the NBC affiliate carried the MSNBC feed. Saw a few moments of it...

...before the Deaniac I married turned it off.

Since "The Networks" didn't show enough interest in national affairs to carry President Bush's address they shouldn't be "invited" to cover any other Whitehouse affairs. Their reporters should be banned and they should not be represented or have coverage at any future press conferences or speeches.

Does the term "the Networks" include Fox?
