You need new friends. I've only met one person who thinks Kerry is a halfway decent candidate and I know a few committed, dedicated leftists.

I'm sorry to have to say this, but you're crazy!
Wanna bet the military vote goes 90% for Bush??
Even the Dems in the military hate Kerry.

I went to MSNBC because Shep on Fox started talking about bracelets of some sort.
I was just in time to hear Chris Matthews say that the Iraqi people were never happy to see us.
He also mentioned WMD, but the crack about the Iraqi people especially rankles me.
He has been so completely wrong lately it is unbearable. I may end up at CNN if this keeps up.

Dick Morris is a news-follower. He waits to see what happens, then he tries to invent some brilliant story to explain it. Nobody should put any stock in his opinion, because he only got it from that morning's paper.

It's funny how the very networks who criticize Bush for being "secretive" and avoiding the press won't even cover [live] a major speech on the future of Iraq.

John Fonda Kerry-Heinz, patriotic, but not patriotic enough.

If you look inside the polls Bush has a female problem. The fickle females have moved to undecided. Morris has been pedaling this line for a couple of weeks now.

I'm cheered up! hehe Just knowing our President is going to speak to us today!
Ohio-we no longer carry cable, don't 'do dish' and this certainly throws me out of the loop, especially not getting Fox News Cable and C-Span.
I am going to try to find his speech on a radio channel, but if you are tending to this thread while listening to our President-please throw in some tidbits, ok? Like how he appears tonight, his intensity etc.
Thanks in advance!
To: don-o
Don't know what "speaking female" means but GWB has to give
the 30% of voters in the middle some hope and tonight is his best bet. The symbolic tearing down of the Iraqi prison
is just that, symbolic.

Totally agree- Juan is a better choice by far- I've seen him be fair-minded on several occasions. How did I miss Mara having a baby? I rarely miss Brit and the gang..

I have friends who have never voted anything but a straight Republican ticket who are considering playing golf or fishing anything but go to the polls in November. You pussies can all sit home come November for all I care.
Frankly, I'm just as sick of YOUR whining as I am of the media.
Either vote for Bush and hold the country or shut the hell up about him.

This is what the networks will be showing tonight, instead of airing the President's speech:
FOX: "The Swan"
CBS: "Yes, Dear" and "Still Standing"
NBC: "Fear Factor"
ABC: "A Beautiful Mind"
