Your photos look great!

Are you going to NM this year? When is it?

Thank you.

We will be in Albquerque from Oct 2-10th...

Please attend again.

Maybe if you come out near the start of the festival we can actually hang out more than last year.

We are going to be alternating the shapes in the beginning of the week, and then both on the weekend.

It should be less hectic.

I'll make a note of the date. I have no idea where we are going to be in Oct. (or next week for that matter.) Hopefully, things will stabilize in the next three months, because it has been a total madhouse the last three or four months.

I'd like to go again for sure. Let me know if you have anything coming up in Vegas, Wyoming or Maryland. Or New York. (help me...)

:-)

LOL!

It looks like we might make it back to Spiediefest. I don't know what the dates are though...

We did end up flying on Monday morning. I actually flew in my balloon. My second flight in the flag.

Which gives a new meaning to "flying the flag."

We landed in a field of stickers and ants.

Beats sidewinders and scorpions...

Ok, so my second flight 'under' the flag... Smarty.

Actually, our crew chief spent his time looking for scorpions when we weren't working.

Thank goodness, he didn't find any.
He had to be happy with a lizard named 'Bob'.
Part of his tail was missing. Dar picked him up and the darned lizard stayed on his shoulder for about a half hour while we were packing the flag away.

Thanks for the ping. Great pics, as usual. I'm sure the crowd appreciated your efforts Memorial Day weekend. Glad you got to fly Monday morning and made it home safely. I am looking forward to Jackson!

VOC is crashed on the couch.
We have been driving in your favorite truck for 2 days.
I've never seen him so out of it. :-)

BTW- I think after him having to sleep and sit in the back seat for more than a few hours, we will be getting a different chase vehicle next year.

ROFOL! Tell VoC I sympathize with him -- been there, done that!

New truck is good!

That had to have been a real butt buster of a trip! What was it -- 5000 miles or so? Almost three days each way?

Would have been hard not to in that country. :)

Well --- those you can actually find almost anywhere --- but not a scorpion or rattlesnake in that entire field. We only use those --- along with our stories of unbearable heat to scare people off. If the secret of our perfect weather were to get out..... but those stickers will be your perfect memento of El Paso --- you'll be finding them for years.

Yup, a butt buster road trip.

But, I'll bet it was worth it!
