CRAWFORD, Texas President Bush (search) suffered cuts and bruises early Saturday afternoon when he fell while mountain biking on his ranch, White House spokesman Trent Duffy said.
Bush was on the 16th mile of a 17-mile ride when he fell, Duffy said. He was riding with a military aide, members of the Secret Service (search) and his personal physician, Dr. Richard Tubbs.
"He had minor abrasions and scratches on his chin, upper lip, nose, right hand and both knees," Duffy said. "Dr. Tubbs, who was with him, cleaned his scratches, said he was fine. The Secret Service offered to drive him back to the house. He declined and finished his ride."

Clearly, you are hanging around the wrong women.
That would be a Serotta. At about $4000 for the frame and another few thou for Capagnolo Super Record parts and some really uber wheels, yeah, $7000 is about right.
If you do like riding your old Schwinn, treat yourself to a $1500 Specialized and find out that bikes really have improved.
Nice road rash! (Actually, seems he was off-road.)
I hope there are enough arroyos and other terrain features on his ranch to make riding interesting. He can some riding with me any time!
ROFL!!
Here's how I see the scene:
President falls off his bike. Probably racing someone. Gets up and dusts himself off, laughs at himself, poo poohs needing to be checked out and cleaned up by his dr. Lets the dr. do his job, then thanks the dr. for fixing him up and the Secret Service agents for picking up his bike. Continues on his way.
Laura greets him with a hug and teasing when she finds out what happens.
Jenna rolls her eyes and laughs when she hears.
All go about their merry way, with no cursing, no excuses, just humor.
I bet he doesn't wear biking shorts, but just shorts. And a t-shirt--and I bet it wasn't yellow and purple, either!
***I bet he looks hot as usual. I can respect, admire and support the Prsident and still enjoy the fact that he is yummy....***
I totally agree! I would have loved to see him biking . . . and I think his scrapes just make him look more handsome.

Sand on the asphalt in a turn can skid out a bike rider easily. No excuses, I'll bet.
true, i should have been more clear. No man looks good in biking shorts
No. No. The wounds should be left as they are, not minimized.
A few jokes are just begging to be made, "You should see the mountain." etc.
