It was pretty optomistic to start a recall of a just "reelected" governor within months and actually pull it off, then replace him with any Republican. I would call that quite an accomplishment, and you only should have been here to hear the scoffing and laughing going on in the beginning. Not only that but all the major liberal news outlets fought very hard to kill the whole idea, it really was quite FUN. Now we have the most famous gov in the world, they even named a gym after him in Baghdad. Remember this is LaLa Land.
I fully supported the recall campaign effort and dumping Boy Davis. Let's not forget, however, that the recall campaign was started by a man who wanted to become the next Cal Governor himself. And Darrel Issa would have made a fine Governor. Way better then Arnie Baby. Taking advantage of Boy Davis' political slide into oblivion was a smart move. Having the cojones to choose Tom McClintock would have been a stroke of genius.
