I fully supported the recall campaign effort and dumping Boy Davis. Let's not forget, however, that the recall campaign was started by a man who wanted to become the next Cal Governor himself. And Darrel Issa would have made a fine Governor. Way better then Arnie Baby. Taking advantage of Boy Davis' political slide into oblivion was a smart move. Having the cojones to choose Tom McClintock would have been a stroke of genius.

First, Issa didn't start the recall, he just helped it along with money 6 months after it started.

Secondly I likely McClintock too but face it he has no "bully pulpit" which is Arnolds key to success. Tom would just be sitting in the Governors house while the legislature continued on its merry way until the next election. It is their FEAR of Arnold motivating the changes they're willing to go along with. If they don't work with him he will work against them, that was the message from the voters, and it seems to be working so far.

A truly great governor in the finest style of his political ilk, the political opportunist.

Obviously you didn't look over the results of the vote on Rohrabacher's H.R. 3722 Tuesday afternoon. Issa voted NO.

If you aren't part of the solution then you are part of the problem and Issa would have been part of the problem if Schwarzenegger had stayed out of the recall election.
