Goof Saturday afternoon...off topic question, if I may. Just realized that I've read practically NOTHING about Kerry's immediate family. It's curious..WE know that his grandparents converted from Judaism...and his dad ws in the USAAF in WW II, but, are his parents alive? what did they do, and he has two or three siblings, right..they're more anonymous than his VP choices.. We read all about Clinton's brother, Carter's brother, Bush's brother, hell, Nixon's brother..during the campaigns..but Kerry's siblings..Nada, zilch...curous, eh?

Well, you know, that's right. I hadn't even thought of that.

Doesn't the FBI do a background check on all Prez candidates for security, etc. ? If they issue a report, that might be a good place to start.

I'll try to get to Google Searching for his Biographical info later on if I get a chance and see what I can find.

I'm heading for my PhotoDeluxe software in a few minutes to work on a project.

Hey, it mentions a brother and parents in this article. Also, he has a first cousin that is a French Socialist/Green Party-er that ran for French Prez in 1981 ! haha !

John Kerry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

The sprawling estate was rebuilt in 1954, so as a youth, Kerry and his parents would often spend the summer holidays there, where Kerry would race his cousins on bicycles and challenge relatives to games of "kick the can." One of his cousins, an East Anglia geography teacher named Kevin Armstrong, later recalled, "I remember him on his bike. He always looked like he was in a race. He was never just pedaling along, he would be going like crazy. We always knew he wouldn't win, but were we ever wrong!" Armstrong, describing the Kerry household, said that they never talked of presidential ambitions, but "there would always be political discussions. Johnny's dad, Uncle Dick, was very serious about politics. There were high-level arguments going on. You had the feeling you were expected to know a lot." During his summers he became good friends with his first cousin Brice Lalonde, a future socialist and green party leader in France who ran for president of France in 1981.

Here is the Google Search where I found that. It's the FIRST link.
