Should the war of civilizations reach our shores on a major level, I think it would be wiser to consider the Left as equals/sympathizers with the jihadists rather than trying to sway them to our side. We wouldn't have the luxury of time to educate or deprogram them. Exterminate on sight if they aren't clearly with us before it hits the fan.

The more immediate concern should be that by circulating Mr. Abraham's essay it will enlighten numbers of left leaning individuals who will then cast votes for President Bush. That is what I mean.

Naturally there are the hopeless, useful idiot types, who will never learn.

On the other hand, there are many converts who were made by events of 9/11. We all have examples of those who were relieved Bush was CinC on that day, even after having voted for Gore.
