May 22, 2004 -- Jamie Gorelick, one of the Democratic Party's workhorses on the 9/11 Commission, now regrets her relatively low-key approach at Wednesday's public hearing: She says she and her colleagues were too easy on Rudy Giuliani, and should have hammered him instead of "wasting a lot of time in complimenting the mayor."

These scumbag "activist victims' families" would urinate all over the corpses of their "loved ones" if it advanced their political agenda of helping the Democrats attach blame to the Republicans for 9/11.

Get a load of THIS!

That scumbag Gorelick and her chums are getting brazen.
Fortunately, this "commission" long ago lost all credibility and is now winding down as a pathetic laughingstock. The commission's "final report" won't be worth the paper it's printed on.

So color Jamie Gorelick yellow.

Exactly. They always want to mutter something when the person has walked away, but are never brave enough to say it to their face.

They want more money, they want all the money, they never cared about their so called loved ones.

Wasn't Berg from the same part of the country.

Screw the jersey girls.

Gorelick and her pals are just lucky that us New Yorkers didn't run them out of town on a rail for the disgraceful performance they put on Tuesday. If they attacked Rudy on Wednesday, 1) they would have gotten their butts handed to them by Rudy, and 2) they would have really annoyed any true New Yorker that is still paying attention to this joke of a commission (other than the Jersey Girls). They knew better.

Now, Gorelick is complaining that she should have been tougher. What a coward! If anything, SHE should be testifying in front of the commission about how she created the wall.

They're midgets.
And they know it.

Yup. Isn't it amazing how this "commission", which started out so humble and so important in its mission to investigate 9-11, quickly degenerated into a yipping, partisan, incompetent pack of grandstanding jack-in-the-box clowns?

It's all over but the hand-wringing.

The 9-11 Commission had a sacred responsibility to protect our beloved nation. Instead it was packed by the democrat party with every imaginable evil deceitful charlatan shyster, beginning with the American citizen most responsible for 9-11: Jamie Gorelick.

The democrat party is the enemy of our nation and must be destroyed.

The "commission" has no interest in that sort of thing - - it doesn't fit their political agenda. Anyways, it would be a waste of time listening to the scumbag commissioners throw accolades at their chum Jamie before tossing her a few softballs.

I just want this pack of has-been jokers to wrap it up and go home.

"The democrat party is the enemy of our nation and must be destroyed."

Like Atilla the Hun said "Ok, no more Mr. Nice Guy."

Frankly, if the Democrat Party doesn't destroy itself, based on the absolutely nihilistic Anti-American hatred that seems to be taking it over, it will destroy the country. When will that line be crossed? This year, or after the election? We will see.

Is that true? They didn't even question the current Mayor?

Yup. From the New York Times:

The mayor's barbed remarks came in a 15-minute statement he made on the second of two days of landmark hearings in Manhattan by the commission, which came to New York to offer to most exhaustive public accounting to date of how the city government responded to the attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11. He was not questioned by the 10-member commission, whose star witness yesterday was Mr. Bloomberg's predecessor, Rudolph W. Giuliani.

You know at first I thought, "Come on W, why did you allow such so-called Republicans (Kean, Lehman etc.) be appointed to this commission?" It almost seems now that W and crew knew that those that they chose were publicity hounds and the type that pretend to play devil's advocate so that the can get the McCain effect - an adoring, accommodating liberal media embrace. Fact is that by pulling such types into the fray, these Pubbies and their dem-hack members managed to eliminate any reasonable credibility that could have been had since the starting line.

Whether purposeful or not, that is sadly but now gladly the end result.

who also has made no bones about claiming that serving the families is his primary mission

Then shouldn't "the families" be the ones paying for it?

Isn't is ironic that these people are trying to persecute the folks who were out there on 9/11, dealing with the most chaotic situation in our lifetimes, breathing cement dust, risking their lives to save others, and trying to make sense out of the unbelieveable, while, on the other hand, they attempt to destroy the efforts of the only folks who are working to prevent such events in the future?
They claim someone should have perceived the unbelieveable in time to have prevented it. Let's say someone might have. These same people would have screamed at the use of precious tax funds for something which had never happened and which had such a small likelihood of happening. I can hear the vicious political comment against GWB right now, had he tried such a thing in his first months in office. Now, we are trying to do the only thing we can do to stop another 9/11 and what are they doing? They have a commission, playing to cameras, asking hostile questions of our 9/11 heroes, demanding that they should have done the impossible. I think of the damage this commission has done when I look at our precious children who were so inspired by the heroism of the firemen, the policemen, the Mayor, the man and woman on-the-street that day, and I wonder who among them would be willing to suffer the consequences brought down on the heads of heroes in this country. I remember the Vietnam Vet and how he was treated when he came home after answering the call to fight for his nation's freedom. Being degraded, spat upon and rejected by your peer's because of the activities of Jane Fonda, John Kerry and others is not much of an incentive to go out there and defend your country in the future. Americans should not allow this kind of hostility to grow against the heroes of 9/11 or the brave soldiers trying to fight for freedom in Iraq.

As far as I'm concerned, calling her a scumbag is too complimentary.
