This might be a stupid question. But why don't these guys have bulletproof glass surrounding the gunners?

There is no such thing as bulletproof glass when the enemy has API rounds.

This isn't exactly news. 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, deployed to Kuwait in November, moved into Iraq in December, and relieved the 101st Airborne Division in the Mosul are in January.

The real news is that another brigade of the 2nd Infantry Division is coming out of Korea to go to Iraq.

No problem. It can get confusing. It will be more confusing when brigades turn into Units of Action. The Army is reorganizing.

After I found the photos that say they're out of Ft Lewis, I caught on. I've asked the moderator to pull it from Breaking News and Front Page News, and either change the title or pull it altogether. I like the photos, but I'm not sure this is worth a thread of its own.

I don't think you can build a turret of glass.

Me too. My baby's on a submarine. I'm old enough now that when I say our soldiers look good, I don't mean it the same way I did 20 years ago.

Gotta love these guys,

The back of their HUMV looks like the back of my old Jimmy, except for the M2 and the large green tube.

...And somewhere stuffed under the spare tire and the box of binders is what looks like your anti-tank rocket. Hope they don't need that thing.
