JEWELLER Nazaar Joudi cries as he remembers the Americans taking over Abu Ghraib prison.
But the tears in his eyes are of gratitude, not humiliation.
He knows that a handful of US soldiers have brought shame upon themselves and their nation for the way they treated Iraqi prisoners at the jail.
But he also knows how much worse the prison was under Saddam Husseins regime.
A doctor cuts off my hand, holds it up to my face, and leaves me to writhe in pain, then I get a bill from Saddam for the opperation...after he watches it on video.
or...
I could dance around naked with pink panties on my head...
Tough choice...
BUMP!!!
The media has these videos of the murders and tortures of Saddam but gee whiz golly, we can't see these, they just might inflame us and mess up the great roll the left is on destroying the President and bringing in the real NEW WORLD ORDER, Socialism they all want to usher in so desperately!
similarly there was a story on Greta's show tonight (Jane Skinner newsbabe standing in for Grreta) about a baby Iraqi girl with a bad tumor that the US (reserve doctor) arranged to have treated here and was the kind of story which has human interest written all over it and it boggles the mind to contemplate how much the likes of Katie Couric and her brethren hate Bush & the troops so much they won't even cover a touching story like that of this baby girl (not to mention the three others previously treated at the same hospital which haven't been covered, either).
I was shocked to see the seven recipients of new hands ....on CNN as well as Fox!..some are adept enough to tie their shoes..It is a good news story.
Gary Senise, the actor ,was on O'Reilly showing the troops passing out school supplies in schools they rebuilt, sent from various community organisations and now some national organizations that have joined in with Senise's.
"He knows that a handful of US soldiers have brought shame upon themselves and their nation for the way they treated Iraqi prisoners at the jail."
These few soldiers only brought shame to themselves. They certainly didn't bring shame to this Nation nor to the U.S. Armed Forces.
It would really suck having your hand get chopped off before your picture appears in The Sun.
It would have been a useful thing to have once that guy gets to Page 3.
Hey did anyone see O`Reilly tonight with actor Gary Sinese (Lt. Dan)? Freggin` great, he talked about how our troops are fixing up the Iraqi schools and Gary is holding a fund drive looking for donations for school supplies, like books, paper and pencils for the Iraqi kids. I was wondering why I haven`t seen much of Mr. Sinese lately. I would say it`s because he`s busy with this fund drive, but another side of me supects that since he is for the citizens of Iraq and not the hero of Nancy Pelosi, Saddam Hussein, that he may have been blacklisted from the toilet of mutated ego and liberalism; Hollywood. I tell you, it just goes to show how incredibly biased the media is, I watch O`Reilly once in a while but if I didn`t tonight I would have never known about this book drive. All you get is the s***t don`t you? All the negatives are promoted constantly and the positives are completely ignored. The prison deal, the few soldiers involved equals the entire military and Bush and the United States in the eyes of CBS and the NY Times. The people who are hoping for a better life in Iraq are constantly worked against, the terrorists are emboldened, given more press, given the "excuse" to kill Nick Berg, and yet they never relent. The liberal scum mutts continue to take sides against this country day after day after day after day. Promote all the negative and all the positive goes out the window, screw how it affects our soldiers and the Iraqis. Lets see Dan Rather once after reading all the names of our men and women who gave their lives in Iraq, lets see him read the names of the millions of lives if not billions who have been saved and will be saved down the road once this scourge of humanity, the absolute sinister disease of terrorism and liberalism is wiped from the absolute face of this earth.
No offense or anything, but I don't think you read the full article. This was in the news recently and I saw coverage on TV about it. They were VERY thankful for the new prosthetic. One man that I saw said his right hand was cut off because he dealt in American Dollars. That was his crime under the old ruler.
This was NOT about abuse by Americans, not one bit! saddam hussein was the one who chopped off arms/hands.
This particular story is about those folks coming to America and getting a new hand/arm. And it was an upbeat story.
Maybe you should read around some more before posting partial articles in a slanted view.
Whadda ya mean? I read it. This is the work of Saddam. How did you get any other idea?
I would've loved to post the whole article, but you can't 'cause FR has too many copyright issues. Sorry if the brevity caused you any grief, but nobody else got the impression that you got. Yeesh.
I found this with a Google search. It was the only working link. If mainstream outlets have it, it ain't in Google.
Makes me wonder how Peter, Tom or Dan would feel if they suddenly found themselves with both hands cut off and a large black X tattoo'd on their foreheads. If they refuse to expose it ... well..... then they must approve of it.
I'll bump that too!
Alright, already. Ok? I already apologized. I misinterpreted. You answered back before I could even respond.
End of subject to me.
You have just learned the most important lesson the in world Baasim.
