Sorry A, I haven't been online for two or three days... You know I'm giving up my grandson's BIG GAME to be there, with my sister (the one that is banned from FR, too controversial and therefore, her sign probably WON'T be tasteful, but I have no control...). Unless I find a husband at the rally, I'll be attending the Pizza/Pool Party after the big game (youth basketball). Hope to see you there, hope to see lots of happily married couples there! I'm excited Alan Keyes will be present!!! If only R. Dornan were with him (the perfect ticket)! My sign will say "1 Man, 1 Woman = Marriage" I think. Take care.

Well, your sign ideas are great, however, we were told to put out signs down or leave, because they didn't want the words "gay" or "queer" used... Mine had the 'gasp' word homosexual on it... Well, we didn't leave, we were very politically correct and stayed. However, the speakers used the words "gay" and 'gasp' "homosexual" during their speeches. Other than that, it was a perfect day, the 'gasp' "homosexuals" didn't show up, the news said they didn't expect many people to show up and weren't interested in it, according to the news reporters. I say it's because they've been working diligently for decades in this country and think the "scam on the normies is in the bag." We are in BIG TROUBLE and need to speak out. Freedombelle, speak...

Who didn't allow the words "gay" or "queer"? Did they allow the word "homosexual"? I think that is very stupid. It's placating, appeasing, and so on. There are many people "out there" who really, really really don't want "gay" marriage but are truly afraid to say anything. The outspoken those of us who get it are, the more we encourage others!
Those who have gone to the dark side will never be influenced by conservatives anyway. They need to go through a lot of personal changes before they resurface. Kind of like alcoholics - they need to hit botttom first.

Hi, not only Dr. Keyes but also Reverend Jesse Petersen, founder of B.O.N.D.!!! He's my MOST favorite, since I have a young black son raising three black sons, and not leaving them in the ghetto to rot! I love Jesse, the REAL Jesse! And, he's so handsome in person, and very sweet! The speakers were great, and all used the exact words our signs had on them, but for some reason the group that organized the rally didn't want us to display them, said we could put them down or leave (my sign said "What God has joined together, let no man put asunder (or pervert). Well, we decided against our OWN belief to put them down and speak up with the majority there. They told us they just wanted to "promote the bills in assembly, and not be hostile or controversial" and gave us a sign that said "Support AB 22." The back of my sign did say 1 Man + 1 Woman = Marriage and that was considered appropriate. Dr. Keyes really spoke to the issue, didn't pull any punches - as did Reverend Petersen and the other speakers. I guess we were suppose to "play nice" for the media...
Hey, just saw your beautiful face on Fox News. So far from what friends have told me, we weren't portrayed in a negative light on Channels Fox or 13 local. Can't vouch for the bay area channels (or the San Jose Mercury News!).
Oops, we were told there was between 1600-1800 there. And I saw on the news that the other side decided not to acknowledge us, but there were two for their side posted across the street. That's where my sis and I thought about going with our politically incorrect signs, but decided against it. Let me just say here and now, that I am not a "pacifist Christian" and "believe I need not bow down to any man (or sheman, or shewoman!)" and it went against our principles, but I guess it was for the greater good this time. That's the PROBLEM in America right now - we pussyfoot around everything, and even in taking a stand, worry about the media, or "public opinion" and that's why we ended up in this mess. Suffice to say, the group and person against our signs is a "politician" but it was sponsored by one of their organizations...
