LA continues to disappoint me and probably will in 04 as well
they did not get Terrell in for Senate
They did not elect Jindahl for Governor
now supposedly polls show Kerry neck and neck with Bush
very disconcerting indeed

I live in LA and it has been a disappointing few years. I see a dim future for the Republican party here.

I have the view that many of Louisiana's Republicans have moved to TX and therefore swelled that state's now majority GOP voter base, leaving the Louisiana electorate some 66 percent Democrat in the process. Many of the LA Democrats are true believers too. And Governor Blanco has very high popularity ratings, as do Senators Breaux and Landrieu. All of these popular politicians have bought into the Kerry campaign for weeks.
