You guest it. The ones accusing the US of violating human rights are the same ones prominent shown at the State Department for violations against their own people.

There is a simple lesson that has been repeated numerous times over the last years - the only things the Arab world respects is power. Merciless power.

They said nothing about Saddam - of course they didn't say anything about him - he would have their families murdered and tortured - even if they were foreign. They feel safe belittling the US because they know we won't hit back.

A few "misguided" munitions into some of these "newsrooms" and we would start to see some semblance of rationality in the reporting. Until they fear us, they will continue to act this way. Starting a local Fox affiliate might help as well.

As far as Egypt and the rest are concerned - what is wrong with a nice satellite broadcast - the truth 24-7 - about how backwards these governments are - covering their sins and attrocities - daily, 24-7. I bet you would see a different editorial position from these state run propaganda machines.

The only thing they respect is power. We need to hit back. We are at war.
