Im the only candidate running for president who hasnt played games, fudged around, said Kerry, a Massachusetts senator. If you believe that choice is a constitutional right, and I do, and if you believe that Roe v. Wade is the embodiment of that right ... I will not appoint a justice to the Supreme Court of the United States who will undo that right. (Mike Glover, Kerry Says No Games On Abortion, The Associated Press, 1/26/04)
Johm Fing Kerry believes in the Easter Bunny, Elves and Martians too.
Only Libs get to do that. Even Catholic ones.
Life ping. JohnKerryWatch.
Watch it you! and I mean it! errrrrrrrrrr
He can "believe" whatever the hell he wants but the question of whether the U.S. Constitution authorizes a "right to abortion" is a factual matter. It does not. This is a fantasty belief of wacko liberals, among other absurd delusions. That Kerry talks about this as a "belief" is revealing about the loony fideism of modern liberalism.
Kerry pretended to be pro-life earlier in his vile political "career." You know, at the same time he was also telling everyone how Irish he was was to fool the Irish voters. Nowadays he is pretending to be humanoid.
We will redefine "filibuster" if he wins. Payback.
Abortion on demand is AOK with John Kerry. Killing unborn humans is AOK with John Kerry. Ending a human life in developement is AOK with John Kerry. The Supreme Court says abortion is a right guaranteed by the US Constitution and that is AOK with John Kerry.
Accepted, you still get your chocolates next year.
Results are what counts. Bush won't nominate one justice that will make it through the senate, unfortunately.
On the other hand, Kerry would.
So you are right in a wrong way.
While back I think there was also an article that said he believed abortion was OK for population control.
I'm glad you're so omniscient.
Filibustering district and appellate court judges is one thing, but if they dimwits in the Senate hold up SCOTUS nominees indefinitely it will blow up in their face.
President Bush has promised justices in the mold of Thomas and Scalia, and I tend to believe him.
If you're willing to guarantee a Roe majority on the court for decades to come, be my guest.

Man, that has to be one of the best Freeper names ever. I have a mental picture of a 6'5" tattooed rabbit riding around on a hog, cruching a cigar in his teeth and dispensing highway justice the 364 days a year he's not delivering baskets.
I wish. We've barely filibustered at all, much less redefined it, and we're in a situation where the SenDem scumbags are just plain refusing to advise and consent. I'm really concerned that if Kerry were to win, the GOP Senators would continue to pretend it's still the 19th Century on Capitol Hill and approve 99% of Kerry's fruit loop appointees without so much as a raised eyebrow.

Your screenname perfectly fits Kerry's latest flip-flop. Abortion truly was pulled from the asses of the SCOTUS at the time and automatically became a "right."
