gee I hope so - It will signify that there is still hope for those who happen to be infected with that genetic mutation.
Kerry's french connection is beyond hope, as I am sure you will agree< /sarcasm>

It's an Irish surname, I know.
Well, probably Norman-Irish I should say, but the Normans went to Ireland so long ago that they're more Irish than the Irish -- to use an old Irish term.
So you're right, French, but from so long ago that they forgot they were French.

DeLay is a through and through Texan from Fort Bend County -- that I know. He probably would be insulted to be called "French"! :~)

You can't be Texian and French. Doesn't combine, doesn't compute ....
ain't happening.

Sorry you are getting a little abused; most of the folks here are okay but they are bit peeved with the french. My wife is french and your ancestral homeland is tre belle. My only concern is that it will be al France before I retire there.

Charles "the Hammer" Martel, Charlemagne, and Tom Delay. Next time someone asks me to name three good frenchmen, I can.
Oh wait, there was Lavosier(sp?), the great French chemist who greatly improved our gunpowder during the War of Independence(and when beheaded, the commies said "The revolution does not need scientists") and a handful of French who helped us during the War of Independence.
Oh damn, there's Hugh de Payans and the other Frenchmen who formed the Templars, Alex de Tocqueville,...Forget it. I'll stop there or I'll be here all night racking my brain.

My granddaddy told me never to ask a man where he's from. If he's from Texas he will tell you without you having to ask. If he ain't from Texas, well, you don't want to embarrass him.
