Four Vietnamese Christians who organized and led weekly worship services in a house church were sentenced to prison for "disturbing public order."

Vietnamese authorities allow a greater degree of religious freedom than in the 1990s, but the government still keeps all religious institutions in its control under the umbrella of the Communist Party's Fatherland Front.

Perhaps our friends, who seek socialism at the cost of the freedom of speech, are actually hoping for this sort of religious control.

BTW, does this article mention North or South Vietnam anywhere?

What South Korea has taught us...Our troops secured it...it thrives and has a large population of Christians who openly worship Christ without fear of reprisal by their own govt....

We abandoned Vietnam and our friends there...to the Communists...
