This man is a genuine threat to our Catholic values. Kerry is a threat to all devout Christians and Jews and, now that I think about it, to all Americans.

Wiegand is last year. Smith and Galante are quite recently. As a computer illiterate in good standing (probably a permanent status), I cannot provide links but I am confident someone can.

[Bp. Galeone] was well known here for not allowing those living together to marry (which, in this liberal area, is really something). Wow! That's definitely something! Thanks for the information. Yes, the things he publishes in St. Augustine Catholic are also good (one anti-contraception piece recently, IIRC).

It's amazing how compelling the Truth is when it is actually spoken!

If the Church is firm on this, I think you'll see the Dem party backing off a little on its demand that all Dem pols be raving pro-abortion nuts. It's WAY too late for that...

And we are closing our eyes and singing the very, very loud this week, to drown out the cries of children being used as props in homosexual "marriages".
Turn the page, let's clap along with the song, that ought to help....

I have copied the story about the train and mailed it out on my email list. I hope that is alright. Thank you for it!

"This man should be made a crdinal."
Couldn't agree more.

I live in Gainesville, and usually go to Holy Faith, which has a new, remarkably orthodox pastor.
Oddly enough, he used to be an assistant at St. Augustine's, the university parish, which is way out of line in just about every way. I hope Bp. Galeone reassigns St. Augustine's pastor, who has been there about 20 years, I believe, because it's a shame to think of young people having St. Augustine's as their main contact with the Church. (On the other hand, I hate to wish the man on any other parish!)
Bp. Galeone has has hands full, I'm sure. We don't seem to have had many scandals in this diocese, but we certainly have a lot of only marginally orthodox clergy who are probably fighting back against being called into line!
