LONGWOOD, FLA. - A woman accused in the poisoning deaths of her three children was returned to Florida from North Carolina and had her first court appearance Sunday morning.

Andrea Williams, 32, of Longwood had initially fought extradition but changed her mind Friday, Catawba county Sheriff Dave Huffman said. She arrived at the Seminole County Jail just before midnight Saturday, officials said.

She made a first appearance in a courtroom at the jail Sunday morning before County Judge John Sloop. She will be arraigned June 22 before Seminole Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr., according to the Seminole County Jail.

Ms. Williams was arrested May 10 in Catawba County. Authorities said she confessed to the killings of her children, Ilona, 9, Ian, 6, and Ivey, 5. The children were found dead at the bottom of a trundle bed in their Longwood home.

Calls placed to the Seminole County public defender’s office went unanswered Sunday.

Ashley Bishop, 27, told the Orlando Sentinel for a story published Sunday that she and Ms. Williams had a rocky and sometimes violent relationship for 18 months after meeting in an online chat room.

Ms. Bishop moved with her three children in June from North Carolina to be with Ms. Williams, but moved back in September. According to Ms. Bishop, Ms. Williams became obsessed and jealous following the move and kept calling her. Ms. Bishop said she changed her telephone number six different times.

She said that on a May 4 call, Ms. Williams threatened to kill her, her estranged husband, Jason, and the Bishop children. She called back the next day and tearfully apologized, Ms. Bishop said.

The evening Ms. Williams was arrested, Ms. Bishop said she had a message on her cell phone from Ms. Williams telling her she was in town and wasn’t leaving.

"It’s very disturbing to me that three innocent children were killed and to know that I was next," Ms. Bishop said.

Please note that these unfortunate children were the product of a heterosexual marriage.

The 3 kids were Ms. Bishops right?

From another article...

Williams is separated from her husband and the couple had filed for divorce. Court records show Gary Williams tried to get custody of their children after his wife attempted suicide in October by overdosing on pills and alcohol. He also argued his wife was an unfit parent and had fallen in love with another woman. His custody request was denied.

The former friend, Ashley Bishop, told The Charlotte Observer after she left Andrea Williams last fall, the jilted Williams called her in North Carolina and threatened to kill herself.

"Well, here's what I'm going to do, you can feel guilty for it. I'm going to kill my kids, because they don't need to suffer like I have, and then I'm going to kill myself," Bishop alleged Williams said.

I thought the way this was written was confusing, too. Perhaps Bishop has 3 children of her own, making a total of 6 between the two.

The court that denied Gary Williams' perfectly reasonable custody request has a lot to answer for today.

Some judge should be recalled or impeached.

"Please note that these unfortunate children were the product of a heterosexual marriage."

Wait till you see what homos do to kids. They'll have a life long legacy of emotional problems. Nothing like willingly adding to the degeneration of kids through homo "marriages".

I agree. I would like to hear the answer and it better be good. Unless Gary Williams is a pedophile and a drunk he should sue the judge.
