Washington, DC -- Former Special Assistant to the Teamsters General President on Energy, Jerry Hood, issued the following statement today regarding John Kerry's scheduled remarks to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Unity Conference:
"Whenever John Kerry has been faced with a choice between voting to create jobs for working families or abiding by the wishes of extreme and intolerant environmentalists, he has sided against America's workers.
"Senator Kerry blocked the Alaskan drilling that would have created tens of thousands of new union jobs and has attacked the President for opposing the Kyoto treaty that would have crippled American manufacturing while aiding our competitors.
"Rank and file union members that I talk to see John Kerry for who he really is - a limousine liberal who likes to be on every side of every issue, but at the end of the day does not side with working families.
"American workers and their families appreciate the steady leadership of President Bush and I strongly suspect he will win a large amount of their support in November. He has my vote."
Maybe the Teamsters can get jobs transporting spotted owls from burned down federal socialist forests to K-Mart signs.
Didn't the Teamsters endorse Kerry?
Maybe the Teamsters can get jobs......
They have jobs at General Electric...... owner of the leftwing biased NBC network.
