There is something that has been kicking around in my head for a while. I have hesitated to address it in a thread. I didn't know how people would react. If they would think I wasn't serious enough or if I wasn't showing proper respect for the casualties and their memory or concern for their families.
I was also concerned about how it would reflect upon me. I'm going to present a scenario for your approval or discussion.
I don't know how many of you are familiar with an episode of the original Star Trek. The episode was titled "City on the Edge of Forever". Joan Collins was the guest star. She portrayed a woman named Edith Keeler. She was a social activist who, if she had survived an accident, would have become the founder of a pacifist organization, the organizations protests turned public opinion enough to allow Hitler's army to build missiles and win WWII. In order for history to work along the proper timeline, she would have to die.
Using that as background, consider a time in the future when an individual, aware of the WTC/Pentagon attacks and the pivotal time in the past. What if somebody was able to insert himself/herself into that event.
What if those events on 9/11 and the following effects and our response is preventing the rise of a global islamic empire. Difficult to fight, much blood spilled but maybe our duty, nonetheless.
A tall tale or something more? Written and presented with love and respect for all involved.

A pretty mind boggling statement.

I do know that some really incredible things are possible now and some have been possible and STILL SECRET for 30+ years.

This particular one?

I doubt it. I think it's a fairly straight forward puppet master thing of scaring the world populace into a one world government by raising the fear factor beyond the stratosphere. They'll have to wind it up some more and I'm sure they have plenty more wind ups scheduled. Then, perhaps some will be their "merely" supporting terrorists and turning them more or less loose.

I agree it is preventing the rise of an empire.

I not convinced as to whether it is Islamic, EU or communist yet. I see everyone's finger prints involved.
