So far isn't that just a rumor? I love Mr Cheney, so I would hate to see him go. Rudy Giuliani though may be the only thing W can do to pick up those crucial votes he needs. I'm not sure about this.

I was wondering if this has been discussed here:

"possible attacks to coincide with high profile events across America, including the November U.S. presidential election."

I was thinking last night that if AQ released a video a week before the election claiming they had suitcase nukes planted in the US, and if Bush got elected again they would set them off...

It wouldnt sway any one here, but could it sway enough sheeple to swing the election against Bush?

Their claim of having planted nukes would not even have to be true. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I have a thought on that. If they (AQ) hadn't thought of that one yet, they have now. . .

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if there isn't already some degree of blackmail involved in the WOT -- the top secret stuff we will never hear about.

2,800+ comments on a single thread. Is that a record?

Not even close. The Hobbit Hole threads, in chat, usually go to 65536 posts. This is the system max...

In your opinion, if this were to happen..

Do you think the election should be delayed due to outside interference?

Or is there no time that we would be safe from outside interference, so we should continue as planned?

Yes, Bored at work. WE would.

Its not us Im concerned about. Its the fence sitters and easily spooked voters that concern me.

Hmmm...N.Korea comes to mind. Makes you wonder what other sensitive U.S. gov. computer systems and info. have been compromised. I believe that it is happening from within the organizations as well. We have too many foreigners on the payroll of companies that handle sensitive info.

I've heard the rumor, as well. No matter his position, Cheney will always be of value to the President and this nation.

If Cheney senses that he is a detriment to the re-election effort, he will be the first to suggest his own replacement. He has absolutely no ego, but also knows his importance in the overall scheme of things. He would be willing to work in the background, quietly, and never seek media attention or praise.

Guiliani could certainly pull some votes to our side.
