Nice job Piper!
It is this type of event that could provide cover for terror strikes. Folks in the Atlanta area should be extra vigilant until this fire is extinguished. In fact, we all should.
We all have muslim areas ;(
Thanks for the info Liz. I'm still trapped here at work. Going to go over my supplies again tonight. This news is not good, but also, not unexpected.
Anyone who does not have disaster supplies together is running out of time.

MnC? Was this in Alabama? How far from the Georgia fire I wonder?
WASHINGTON (AP) U.S. officials have new intelligence indicating terrorists are in the United States and preparing to launch a major attack this summer, The Associated Press has learned.
Liz, if you can, please get at least the basic supplies together. Please.
If my worst case senario happens, those who do have supplies will have to fight to keep them.
Of most concern, the official said, is that terrorists may
possess and use a chemical, biological or radiological weapon that could cause much more damage and casualties than a conventional bomb.

described the intelligence as highly credible.
and they have no plans to raise the alert level. why?!

I've been following the Threat Metrix thread for months now; I'd like to thank all of you for your wit, wisdom and intelligence. (I live in Florida, by the way.)
Pardon me if y'all have posted it before, but what supplies do you suggest for such an emergency? My wife and I have two kids, ages 5 and 2, and four cats.
>> tomorrow will buy some stuff <<
That's good Liz. Do you have the survival list? If not I'll find the other post and let you know what the # is.
I'm at RED, too ... without my wife knowing, I've been stowing away supplies like water, extra cat food. Even bought a little first-aid kit.
Thanx for the welcoming!
