It's an extreme left/liberal, anti-American pack of lies.
For one, Congress quickly voted to give wide latitude to the President to order anything he wants done in the Middle East. The President has told us that the War on Terror would be long and require much sacrifice.
And we don't have as much money as we'd like for defense, because our own communist (Democrat) media runs campaigns to keep their social experiments (programs to make all adults single and put children with the government) intact. They do so by scaring the populace into believing that programs for the helpless (when actually nanny state social services for breaking families, bloated education spending, so-called "affirmative action," "Women's Studies" programs, bloated conservation and environmental programs, etc., need to be cut) are going to be closed. A lot of organizations and institutions in our USA are to blame for that, and many of the people in them will vote Democrat every election.
We could keep and strengthen Social Security, food stamps, and whatever necessities keep the sick, lame and lazy going while getting rid of a lot of junk that goes to the intelligentsia lobbies.
There are also a lot of good old ideas for raising war funds, but too many of us Baby Boomers are too spoiled rotten to "sacrifice" and go along with those.
I have a deep sense of gratitude to all of our military personnel who enlisted, our Secretary of Defense, our Secretary of State (who was recently in Israel in the middle of that mess) and our President.
It is also my perception that some conservatives are temporarily breaking ranks with us, because they need to adhere to the honesty, honor and integrity that is the character of traditional conservatism. Life on the violent side does not work like it does in a Steven Seagal movie. Meanness, self-pride and other immoralities won't get us anywhere.
An ideal (even if unattainable) of moral impeccability, courage and the understanding to avoid underestimating our enemy will get us there. The best we can do each day is to do better than we did yesterday. Or we can simply trust our leaders and soldiers who do their best to live those latter, better qualities. Rather than vacant self-pride, our pride is in what we and our buddies do.

Just spying on you now, LOL!

" I was one of those (really we all are) and a poster took me to task on the Neo-con plan. I know the plan and end run and the dirty tricks involved in applying it. HOWEVER, we must choose alliances in this war. To understand that a small cabal of forward thinkers has a plan to oust radical islamists from nipping at society's heels is one thing. To deny it because of morality is ignorant and disastrous to the immediate task at hand. To support the destruction of the Jihadis and help America's empirical desires in the process is ridding the world of evil. Conservative difference can be settled later...we have some mujahid to slaughter!
