The City Council of Hamtramck, Michigan approved an amendment to the city's noise ordinance to allow the Muslim call to prayer over loudspeakers 5 times daily, from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. The new ordinance takes effect May 26. Nonie Darwish writes the following:

When the muezzin calls the believers to prayer it's expected that they show up and pray.

Since the 5 daily prayers are recorded and should always be the same. Just digitally record the racket then reblast it from another loud speaker strategically placed in front of the mosque speaker several blocks away. Phase adjusting the signal 180 degrees will cause significant reduction in the overall strength of the prayer racket through wave cancellation. People between the speakers won't hear anything. Plus in between prayers -- Van Halen!

There were some mentions of Palestine, TX in some gloating arabist media when the Space Shuttle exploded - with an Israeli and an Indian onboard over Palestine, TX.

They portrayed it as some blessing of their satanic religion.
