I don't know about regular SSI Jinxy. I was approved for social security disability and still get my VA disability. When I was approved it was backed up 15 years but I only got 6 months retroactive payment. Getting my retirement would be nice since all those other federal employees that are Disabled Vets are getting theirs. Last election almost 100% of the Senators and Congresscritters up for reelection signed a petition for the DAV saying they would pass and fund the bill giving us our retirement as soon as the next session started. Didn't happen. I will never again vote for anyone holding office or anyone that has even driven by a damn law school. They are all lieing bastards, but I'm not bitter.
