Am I the only one who didn't know that the suspect connected to Ft Detrick was an Egyptian born man namned Assaad??

I was under the impression that we were dealing with home grown right wing white supremacist nuts.

This development was likely prompted by their finding Ayaad Assaad's name in Nick Berg's notebook, but it is just a complete coincidence.

There was a thread here a couple weeks ago about (Iraq?) having several people quarantined with what looked like anthrax; there was children among them.

Did any of you see that? I have no heard anything since.

They said the agents also seemed interested in an analysis of the letter's syntax by Donald W. Foster, an English professor at Vassar College, who wrote about it in the October issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

No...ya gotta be kidding me...no...Foster again? The FBI takes this crank seriously? No, it can't be...fears that those we expect to care for us don't are coming true...unbelievable...

I mean this is a joke, right?

--He said he also discussed with them his theory of how one could make the type of anthrax used in the attacks by forcing steam from a hot, liquid mixture through a nozzle and collecting dried residue from the condensation. --

I find it somewhat hard to believe this guy never worked with anthrax. I guess he only THOUGHT about working with anthrax.

There WAS no Anthrax.

Witness this logic (using arguments of the left):

We have searched Iraq for WMDs and have not shown sufficient evidence to give enough credence to silence those in the pro-Saddam/anti-war movements.

Here in the US, there have not been the restrictions on inspectors looking where they want for a biological weapon but they still have not determined any US origin.

Ergo, there was no anthrax (just as there is no Osama bin Laden, if there was we should have found him by now).

That explains it all.
