Nicely done post, thanks.
My own addenda:
Those who do not practice abortion (e.g., Muslims, Latin-American Catholics, etc.), are poised to take over via sheer numbers, so abortion may soon not be a problem. Unfortunately, it will come at the cost of the ideas upon which this country was founded. Neither Latin America nor the Muslim world has a history of setting up governments even close to that of the US of yore.

Actually I have been having a good hard think about Latin American imigration. I have not distilled it all yet.
On one hand I think immigration as it is currently practiced: The Latino coming here and undermining the social fabric by holding onto Spanish and being encouraged to suck at the public trough is a definite liability.
On the other hand, America has been enriched by the infusion of almost every immigrant group in it's history prior to the PC corruption of the system. The immigration of a hard working, Christian group can never hurt us.
Who can say. There are a good many Latino's earning citizenship in Iraq and Afganistan. An infusion of good fearing people may do us good.
